We are seeking a proactive and versatile Web Developer to join our team. This role goes beyond traditional web development, encompassing SEO, website performance optimisation, design implementation, and ongoing site maintenance. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing and enhancing our WordPress/WooCommerce websites, supporting our e-commerce platforms, and driving online growth.

Responsibilities
- Website Development & Maintenance
- Develop, customise, and maintain WordPress/WooCommerce websites.
- Implement new website features, functionality, and integrations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly.
- Manage themes, plugins, updates, and site security.
- Perform regular backups and technical checks.
- Ensure websites remain fully responsive and functional across all devices.
- E-Commerce Management
- Maintain and optimise WooCommerce functionality.
- Support product uploads, categorisation, and merchandising.
- Enhance checkout processes and overall site performance.
- Implement tracking and reporting tools.
- SEO & Performance Optimisation
- Execute on-page SEO strategies, including metadata, headings, and internal linking.
- Assist with keyword research and content optimisation.
- Improve site speed and Core Web Vitals metrics.
- Monitor search rankings and organic performance.
- Utilise tools like Google Analytics and Search Console to track and report performance.
