We are on the lookout for a motivated and proactive Business Development Specialist to join a growing team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys a mix of commercial strategy, client interaction, and hands-on involvement. With a competitive base salary and an OTE of an additional £12K, this is your chance to make a real impact while advancing your career.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities to support the company’s growth.
  • Work with a hot CRM system to prospect, follow up on leads, and convert them into long-term clients.
  • Occasionally visit clients (approximately once a week) to discuss projects and strengthen relationships.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless execution of client projects.
  • Dedicate 75% of your efforts to commercial activities, driving revenue and expanding the client base.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in business development or a similar role.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
  • Comfortable with occasional physical tasks, such as assisting with product transportation.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems is a plus.

Day-to-Day

  • Prospecting and following up on leads using a robust CRM system.
  • Engaging with potential clients to understand their needs and present tailored solutions.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and project success.
  • Occasionally visiting clients to discuss ongoing or potential projects.
  • Contributing to the company’s growth by identifying new business opportunities.
