We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive

HR & Recruitment Coordinator to join our clients team in Leeds.

This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys a varied role and is looking to further develop their career across recruitment, employee relations and HR administration.

Working closely with the Group HR Director, Senior HR Advisor and managers across the business, you will play a key role in supporting the entire employee lifecycle.

From attracting and on-boarding talented individuals to maintaining accurate HR records and providing first-line support on employee relations matters, you will get stuck in to it all...

  • Full time- 8.30am-5pm Monday to Friday with 1 day working from home

Responsibilities -

This is a multifaceted role, offering a great level of variety covering the key areas below -

  • Recruitment (50%)
  • Coordinate end-to-end recruitment, including advertising vacancies, screening applications, arranging interviews, and liaising with hiring managers.
  • Support onboarding and induction for new starters.
  • Maintain recruitment records and produce recruitment reports.
  • Employee Relations (30%)
  • Provide administrative support for employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, absence, and performance processes.
  • Prepare correspondence and meeting documentation, attend meetings, and take accurate notes where required.
  • Maintain confidential and compliant employee records.
  • HR Administration (20%)
  • Manage new starter and leaver processes, including contracts, references, right-to-work checks, HR system updates, inductions, and exit interviews.
  • Administer employee lifecycle changes, including salary amendments, contractual variations, and internal transfers.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and systems, ensuring GDPR compliance.
  • Respond to routine HR queries from employees and managers.
  • Support HR projects, policy updates, tender documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in an HR Administration / Coordination role.
  • Good understanding of HR processes and employment legislation.
  • Must have previous experience supporting ER cases, particularly disciplinaries.
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • CIPD qualifications would be a benefit but not essential
