We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a proactive HR & Recruitment Administrator to join their busy People team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with HR or recruitment administration experience to develop their career in a fast-paced environment. This role is initially a temporary role but has a high chance of going temp to perm.

Details:

  • £24,000 - £27,500 per annum
  • Full-time 37.5 hours
  • Temporary with potential for temp to perm
  • York but hybrid working may be available

Responsibilities:

  • Manage People administration across the full employee lifecycle, including starters, leavers, probation reviews, and contractual changes.
  • Support recruitment processes by scheduling interviews and following up on candidate feedback from hiring managers.
  • Assist the HR Business Partners with administrative tasks.
  • Ensure HR records and systems are accurately maintained.
  • Act as a point of contact for HR-related queries and provide guidance on policies and procedures.
  • Handle confidential information in line with GDPR and company policies.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Previous experience in HR or recruitment administration is essential.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently at pace.
  • Proactive and able to use initiative while knowing when to seek support.
  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and HR systems.
