Part-Time Human Resources Administrator
Overview
Are you a proactive and detail-oriented HR professional looking for a flexible, part-time role? We are seeking a dynamic Human Resources Coordinator to join our Global HR team in York. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in supporting the entire employee lifecycle, from recruitment to offboarding, while contributing to the continuous improvement of our HR processes. This role is for 20 hours per week, offering a great balance for professionals seeking flexibility.

Responsibilities
- Drafting job adverts, screening CVs, coordinating interviews, and managing offers and pre-employment checks.
- Preparing contracts, scheduling orientations, following up on probation periods, and managing leaver administration.
- Preparing HR letters, updating policies, and maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with GDPR.
- Responding to HR queries and providing first-line advice aligned with company policies and legal requirements.
- Organising training activities and ensuring compliance.
- Tracking and escalating absence cases, and supporting Occupational Health referrals
- Processing monthly payroll changes and maintaining HR systems
Qualifications
- Strong administration experience with excellent attention to detail
- Comfortable working with established processes, systems and procedures
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Confident using different systems and databases
- Workday experience would be beneficial but is not essential
- An interest in HR would be advantageous, but previous HR experience is not required
- A proactive, reliable approach with the ability to work accurately and independently
