The Park Lane Healthcare Group is seeking an Assistant Accountant. The responsibilities include:
- Posting of bank statements to Sage
- Production of daily cash flow forecasts on Excel, bank summary and daily occupancy levels
- Sending reports to the Directors by 10am each morning
- Checking purchase invoices to budgets on a weekly basis
- Purchase ledger processing and payments via BACS each month
- Conducting 4 weekly invoice runs for residents and councils
- Debt chasing/statements for residents and councils
- Reconciling council accounts via Excel to pinpoint outstanding debts and discrepancies
- Ensuring signed contracts for all current/new residents
- Completing weekly/monthly payroll via Coolcare and Sage
- Monthly bank reconciliations
- Liaising with home managers on any queries for residents or payroll
- Answering the telephone and dealing with customer/supplier queries
- Preparing monthly accounts to TB and Management Accounts by the 8th business day of every month
- Handling projects and reports as requested by a director of the company
- Performing general administrative and ad hoc tasks as the role demands
