As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you'll focus on generating new business opportunities for the company by identifying, contacting, and qualifying potential customers. We target organisations with 500+ employees and above from an outbound perspective, so you'll need to be comfortable talking to senior decision makers within large organisations in a range of functions. This is a commission-earning role, with commission paid for both outbound meetings booked and inbound lead conversion (to meetings).

Key Responsibilities

  • Converting inbound leads into qualified meetings for the new business team
  • Tracking and reporting all this engagement in key business systems e.g. HubSpot, CRM (Dynamics)
  • Supporting the business on converting interest associated with specific campaigns and initiatives as required

Measuring Success (KPIs)

  • Outbound meetings booked - target per month
  • % inbound leads converted to meeting - target per month
  • Activity steps completed in HubSpot, daily dial volumes reported by Zoom
  • Average deal value (measured in Y1 GP) generated from meetings, with a goal % conversion rate from SQL (meeting) to quoted opportunities

What You Bring

  • Experience in B2B telesales; tech, comms or SaaS
  • Experience prospecting senior decision makers (CIO / CISO / CTO / Digital / Procurement)
  • Experience using similar systems to HubSpot for prospecting
  • Experience handling and converting inbound leads from a range of channels; webchat, phone, email, marketing campaign engagement
  • CRM (e.g. Dynamics) literacy
  • Excellent communicator and collaborator
  • A strong team player; seeking to support other team members, share experience and work together to achieve team outcomes as well as meeting personal KPIs
  • Degree in Marketing, Business or related field preferred
