We are seeking to grow the team with the recruitment of an experienced valuer or cost engineer to provide plant and equipment assessments for clients across a wide range of sectors. This is a diverse role that will give you constant exposure to a range of assets and businesses, including food manufacturing, vehicle manufacturing, oil and gas plants, sports and leisure facilities, pharmaceutical plants, power plants, renewable energy, offices, hotels, etc. We are a welcoming, dynamic, hard-working team and are looking for friendly, tech-savvy people who have an eye for detail and a desire to refine processes to improve outcomes for our clients. The role involves regular UK travel with the opportunity to work internationally, both of which will require overnight stays away from home and occasionally some weekend travel.

You will be a plant and equipment valuer, loss adjuster or cost engineer, preferably with professional qualifications, with at least five years post-qualification experience. Recent knowledge of assessing plant, equipment, and contents for reinstatement cost assessments/insurance would be preferred but candidates from other disciplines with direct experience in estimating costs for large or complex projects will also be considered. You must have a positive attitude and be motivated to do your best to succeed. You should enjoy taking on new challenges and finding creative solutions. You like travel, problem solving, learning new skills, meeting people and using relationships to help a business grow and succeed. You are organized, focused, and work at a fast pace, and are very comfortable working with people at all levels. You understand the importance of data in the modern world and are committed to maximising its use to improve service, responsiveness and quality.
