About the role: Chartered Management Institute are seeking a Senior Quality Manager on a full-time, fixed term contract until 31st March 2026. The role is predominantly home-based but there is a requirement to travel on occasions within the UK and internationally. The primary purpose of this role is to ensure that CMI meets all regulatory requirements, adheres to best practices and upholds its high standards for regulated qualifications. This involves maintaining and updating policies, procedures and guidance to ensure they remain fit for purpose and are properly communicated and understood, whilst also managing an accurate document control system. A key responsibility includes leading and managing Qualifications Quality Managers, Awarding Body staff and Contractors to ensure consistently high performance and alignment with objectives. The role also focuses on overseeing new product development and delivery, including international initiatives, with occasional overseas travel. Ensuring compliance among partners and providing necessary support is essential, as well as identifying and managing risks, addressing regulatory changes and improving operations through customer insights. The position includes managing appeals, complaints and other special considerations as well as contributing to the wider management of the Awarding Body and representing CMI at external events. Responsibilities: To work with the Deputy Director of Awarding Body, the Head of Awarding Organisation and other Senior Quality Managers to deliver the CMI Strategy and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
