As the Regional Membership Executive at the CII, you will assist the regional membership team in driving volunteer support, membership growth, and stakeholder engagement across the UK, Channel Islands, and the Isle of Man.
You will play a crucial role in expanding the CII's reach, enhancing member satisfaction, and fostering a strong sense of community among professionals in the insurance and financial planning sectors.
You will manage annual regional membership plans and assist national projects like the 'Realigning the Partnership' initiative.
Your responsibilities include developing and distributing key volunteer communications, managing volunteer surveys and reports, and supporting risk and legal solutions for the regional membership team.
Additionally, you will mentor the Regional Membership Administrator and assist in organising key engagement events for local institute volunteers.
This home-based role requires occasional travel to the CII's head office in London and across the UK for larger local institute events.
Responsibilities

Qualifications
- Excellent communication and people skills, capable of building and maintaining professional relationships.
- Keen attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple priorities under pressure.
- Volunteer champion with a solid background in managing volunteers and stakeholder relationships, and experience in event coordination.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and digital event platforms.
- Relevant experience from the financial services industry or a similar role, ideally within a membership body.
- Self‑starter, motivated, able to work autonomously, using initiative to achieve positive member outcomes.
