The overarching purpose of the Chartered Insurance Institute (‘the Institute’) is to educate and support our members to deliver services to the highest professional standards and to advocate for the public good. By doing this the Institute builds and maintains public trust in the insurance, financial planning, and mortgage advice professions.

You will join the CII Group Events Team and take charge of delivering assigned events within our dynamic programme. As the onsite event lead, you'll ensure seamless execution and exceptional experiences for our members and profession. You'll coordinate with partners, delegates, and speakers, working closely with the events and partnerships teams. Your role involves managing up to three events per week during peak periods and traveling across the UK to meet team objectives. You'll handle all logistical aspects of your assigned events, build relationships with stakeholders, and represent the CII Group onsite. Your role includes managing feedback, resolving queries, and continually improving event processes to enhance the membership proposition. You'll also oversee onsite event filming and digital content delivery.
You are proactive and organized, with a knack for managing events and coordinating logistics. You are approachable and communicative, able to build strong relationships with stakeholders - happy to be the face of the institute and represent the organization confidently. You are flexible and adaptable, ready to travel and handle multiple events during peak periods. You have experience in ensuring smooth execution and exceptional experiences. You are independent and collaborative, capable of working autonomously and as part of a team. You have experience with event management systems and digital content delivery.
