You’ll be based at our Alderley Park site (SK10 4TG) – so it’s highly beneficial if you can drive. If you are a Real Estate graduate or you have a background in Commercial Real Estate – this is an incredible opportunity to get exposure to a variety of Commercial Real Estate across life science/tech/finance/professional services businesses in a semi‑rural innovation‑driven complex with a real mix of amenity including gym, padel court and a pub.

Job purpose

With the support of the Associate Director in Commercial you’ll be responsible for driving and delivering new lettings, anticipating their requirements at every step of their property journey, negotiating commercial transactions that work for everyone and building strong customer relationships within the Bruntwood portfolio.

What we’re looking for

  • A passion for the Commercial Property industry, ideally you’ll have studied a Real Estate related degree or similar. If you haven’t studied Real Estate we’re open to experience in roles that involve sales, negotiation, target/budget management, deal structure, market and competitor knowledge.
  • A relationship builder who is able to develop rapport and adapt their style to a variety of customers and colleagues at any level.
  • Someone who is passionate and driven to deliver a great experience, putting customer experience at the forefront.
  • A keen learner, someone who wants to build knowledge through developing relationships internally and externally, someone who is inquisitive and not afraid to step outside their comfort zone.

What you’ll be doing

For new customers

  • Manage enquiry pipeline, undertaking viewings and instructing deals, making sure we deliver an excellent experience from the outset.
  • Ensure smooth takeover of responsibility for opportunities created by business development and marketing teams.
  • Engage proactively with these enquiries to understand their space needs and drive viewings, quotes and transactions.
  • Work as part of a team to achieve our sales targets and drive deals through to completion.
  • Attend networking events to generate awareness of our products and identify potential new customers.
  • Identify solutions to overcome competitor offerings and think creatively to attract occupiers to the portfolio when we may not necessarily have the immediate property solution.

For existing customers

  • Deliver on all elements of property customer account management including; lease renewals, expansions, relocations, rent reviews, customer relationships (including debt and queries), and owning and driving the data regarding them.
  • Full lifecycle account management exploring all sales opportunities with our customers and to ensure we retain all customers and when necessary being creative with the structuring of terms as well as an ability to engage on potentially challenging conversations.
  • Own and manage a number of key customer accounts within the Bruntwood portfolio, driving retention and developing strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues including the Asset Managers, Building Surveyors, Lease Transactional team, Marketing team and Operational Managers to ensure a total team approach to sales transactions.
