Job Overview
As a Supply Chain Planner, you will be responsible for the optimisation and balance of inventory across the network. This will be done with targeted customer service levels, forecast accuracy and safety stock for the allocated portfolio of SKUs. Daily, you will manage the ongoing order planning, pushing forward order execution for branches, working collaboratively with suppliers within integration programs. The ideal candidate will be proactive in their approach and have experience of working in a large multi site supply chain environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure product availability in the NDC
- Set and optimise planning parameters
- Identify and address exceptions highlighted by the planning system
- Perform inventory planning, managing parameters and policies within the boundaries set alongside targets set with the Supply Chain Manager
- Build and maintain good relationships with suppliers to confirm production and shipping schedules
- Monitor and maintain open purchase orders to ensure on time deliveries, handling all shipment tracking information
- Manage backlogs and potential bottlenecks within the planning cycle
- Interface with sales and logistics to address daily critical situations
- E O management and returns to suppliers
- Collaborate with suppliers to implement integration initiatives such as planning, forecasting and replenishment. This includes direct shipments, logistics integration and cooperative SLAs
- Manage supplier master data for Supply Chain
