Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain Manager to join the Staline Team in Reading, UK. Are you a strategic supply chain professional with a passion for leading people, optimizing processes, and delivering operational excellence? Join DPC, Starline as our Supply Chain Manager and play a pivotal role in driving performance, improving efficiency, and ensuring customer satisfaction across the entire value chain.

Main Job Duties

  • Maintain accuracy of the daily production schedules for all departments to set achievable targets.
  • Maintain accuracy of the daily supplier schedules to achieve production plans to meet customer requirements.
  • Liaison with Strategic Sourcing in management activities with key suppliers.
  • Participate in supplier QBRs as needed.
  • Monitor Syteline data, inventory reports, and other data resources to determine proper on-hand quantities and system settings.
  • Use capacity planning tools to recommend necessary adjustments to the Production team regarding production rates and line configurations with available labor.
  • Develop and maintain rules of engagement for order management, including master scheduling policy.
  • Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule to minimize past due orders.
  • Provide daily updates on production/shipping performance against established goals.
  • Evaluate the impact of expedited orders on the production plan and provide feedback to CSSs.
  • Participate in scheduling new products (samples, first production runs, etc.).
  • Assess performance, analyze sales orders and forecasts, communicate risks, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Support daily or weekly supplier meetings; engage in supplier report card reviews.
  • Liaise with engineering drafting team as needed.
  • Participate in monthly safety walks.

Qualifications

  • Education: BS in Business, Operations Management, or related field, or equivalent experience. APICS certification is preferred.
  • Experience: At least 3 years as a Supervisor or Manager in a Manufacturing/Production environment. At least 3 years as a Planning Manager or Master Scheduler. 5-7 years in a manufacturing/planning role in an ETO environment.
  • Skills/Knowledge/Abilities: Strong organizational and time management skills, with close attention to detail and ability to handle multiple priorities effectively. Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with ERP, DRP, MRP, MRPII, or other inventory systems. Experience with Access, Crystal Reports is a plus. Highly collaborative with excellent communication skills across all organizational levels. Reliability and accountability for delivering results. Ability to create reports, presentations, and business correspondence effectively. Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and ability to maintain internal relationships. Solid business acumen and understanding of various functional areas within the business.
