Are you a commercially savvy procurement professional looking to make a tangible impact through major investment and operational transformation?
This is a rare opportunity to join a large, UK-headquartered international manufacturer entering an exciting phase of growth, automation and strategic investment. With the support of new owners and a clear transformation roadmap, the business is scaling rapidly with procurement at the front and centre of that journey.
They are seeking a Senior Buyer to take ownership of key capital procurement and indirect spend across a growing multi-site UK network. You\’ll manage high-value sourcing projects – from packaging machinery to site services working cross-functionally with engineering, technical, and operations teams.
This role would suit someone with experience in Indirect Procurement, preferably Capex, facilities management, site services, engineering & MRO etc…, who\’s looking for a more visible, value-driving position in a forward-thinking and supportive team.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end procurement for Capex, FM and Engineering projects, from supplier selection to contract execution and performance tracking
- Support group-wide investment plans across equipment, automation, engineering services, and infrastructure upgrades
- Engage with OEMs, contractors, and service providers to ensure value, compliance, and innovation
- Drive commercial negotiations and procurement compliance, contributing to continuous improvement across spend areas
- Partner with engineering and technical stakeholders to shape and align procurement strategy with future business needs
Your Background
- 3+ years\’ experience in indirect procurement, ideally with exposure to Capex, FM, Site Services, MRO, or engineering related categories
- Confident managing stakeholders across engineering, operations, and project teams
- Strong commercial acumen and experience negotiating high-value contracts
- Familiarity with spend areas such as packaging machinery, conveyors, weighing systems, or site services is a bonus
- Practical, adaptable and comfortable in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment
