The Role
You\βll develop category strategies, conduct market research, lead bid preparation, evaluate tenders, and negotiate contracts to deliver maximum value.
Working closely with internal teams and suppliers, you\βll manage projects from planning to contract launch, ensuring quality outcomes within set timelines.
Strong relationship-building skills are essential, as you\βll engage with suppliers and customers at all levels, including executive stakeholders.
You\βll also support supplier reviews, assess new technologies, and influence procurement decisions.
Proficiency in e-Procurement systems is essential, as well as commercial contract drafting and tendering. CIPS membership and public procurement knowledge considered an advantage although you can be put through CIPS by us should you wish to!
