This is a brilliant opportunity to join Tesco's Property Procurement team, supporting one of the UK's largest property portfolios.

As Procurement Manager for the Electrical category, you'll play a key role in keeping our estate running safely, efficiently and sustainably—working across engineering, maintenance and specialist electrical services that directly impact our stores, colleagues and customers. You'll collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders and suppliers, shaping strategies that deliver real business value while helping us build an estate that is fit for today and ready for the future. This is a role where you can make a visible difference—combining commercial thinking, innovation and sustainability to drive outcomes at scale.

You will be responsible for

  • Shaping and delivering sub-category strategies aligned to wider category plans, bringing fresh thinking and leveraging emerging technologies.
  • Leading sourcing activity end-to-end, delivering strong commercial outcomes across both Capex and Opex.
  • Creating and running fair, transparent sourcing processes (RFI/RFP), ensuring the best suppliers are selected for Tesco.
  • Building strong, trusted relationships with stakeholders and suppliers to influence decisions and unlock long-term value.
  • Managing supplier performance and risk through effective supplier relationship management, including regular reviews.
  • Leading contract development and negotiations, ensuring agreements support operational needs and long-term value.

You will need

  • Have experience in procurement, sourcing or commercial roles (property, engineering or construction experience is helpful but not essential).
  • Are confident working with stakeholders and suppliers to influence outcomes.
  • Enjoy solving problems and thinking differently to deliver better value.
  • Can balance commercial outcomes with safety, sustainability and compliance.
  • Are comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
