Key Responsibilities:- Manage and negotiate with suppliers to ensure reliable, high-quality, and cost-efficient sourcing, while identifying alternative options to strengthen supply chain resilience and support long-term partnerships.
- Collaborate with internal teams, particularly NPD, to drive innovation through new ingredient sourcing while embedding ethical and sustainable practices into procurement strategies and staying informed on market and environmental trends.
- Optimise procurement processes and systems to boost efficiency, data-driven decision-making, and cost-effectiveness, while ensuring compliance and maintaining accurate documentation of contracts, pricing, and supplier performance.
- Act as a key link between Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, and Product Development to align strategies, support innovation through market insights, and ensure seamless communication across departments.
Essential: To thrive in this role, candidates will need a track record in procurement, ideally within food production or commodity purchasing. Experience in sourcing raw materials or ingredients would be a strong advantage and highly valued from the outset.
