The Role
As a Merchandiser, you will play a key role in planning, trading, and analysing the performance of MP Activewear product ranges. You will work closely with buying, design, and marketing teams to ensure the right products are available at the right time, in the right quantities, maximising sales and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and manage seasonal product ranges in line with business strategy.
- Analyse sales performance, customer trends, and stock levels to drive commercial decisions.
- Manage inventory levels, forecasting demand and reducing stock risk.
- Collaborate with buying and design teams on range planning and product lifecycle.
- Monitor product performance and implement trading actions to optimise revenue.
- Manage pricing, promotions, and markdown strategies.
- Prepare weekly trading reports and performance insights for senior stakeholders.
- Support new product launches and ensure optimal stock availability across channels.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in merchandising, preferably within fashion, sportswear, or e‑commerce.
- Strong analytical skills and confidence working with data and forecasting tools.
- Advanced Excel or equivalent data analysis skills.
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of retail KPIs.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, growth‑focused environment.
