Our Commercial Team plays a vital role in enabling this mission by delivering high-quality, compliant procurement and robust contract management that supports every part of the organisation.

We are recruiting two Senior Commercial Managers:

  • Senior Commercial Manager (Generalist) – leading procurement and contract management across multiple categories including People Services, Technology, Corporate, Buildings and Market Research.
  • Senior Commercial Manager (IT) – specialising in Digital & IT commercial activity, working closely with the IT & Digital function to source and manage essential technology and digital services.

In both roles you will lead end-to-end sourcing activity, develop commercial strategies, manage supplier performance and ensure compliance with PCR 2015, the Procurement Act 2023 and wider Government Commercial Functions standards. You will provide expert commercial advice, support category strategy development and contribute to an ambitious programme of commercial transformation.

The Generalist role will additionally lead the production of management information, dashboards and reporting for the Commercial function, enabling data-driven decision making.

These are exciting opportunities to shape commercial outcomes, influence organisational strategy and make a meaningful impact across the CMA. We offer flexible and hybrid working, excellent professional development, and the opportunity to make a tangible difference to people’s lives.
