About the role
As a Procurement Manager, you'll work closely with project teams and the wider Balfour Beatty procurement community to develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with Main Contract terms and BBR policies. You'll manage high-value sourcing activities, negotiate complex agreements, and ensure compliance while supporting on-time delivery and sustainability goals.
What you'll be doing
- Develop and manage procurement strategies throughout the rail project lifecycle.
- Lead multi-disciplinary sourcing teams through tender and ITT processes for high-value contracts.
- Negotiate agreements that meet safety, sustainability, and cost-saving targets.
- Manage supplier performance and resolve disputes using BRAVO systems.
- Coach and develop teams to achieve high performance.
- Ensure compliance with legal frameworks, contract law, and BBR processes.
