Are you ready to step into one of the most influential global category roles in the Food & FMCG industry? This is your chance to join an iconic market-leading business behind some of the world's best-loved brands you'll likely recognise.

In this global role, you'll take ownership of a high-value, strategically important remit of their Ingredients / Food Commodities portfolio. You'll be the central face of the global category strategy, working across 10+ markets / international regions and partnering closely with senior business leaders to ensure a united, future-fit approach to strategy, sourcing and risk management.

Your role will directly amplify value, accelerate innovation, empower regional teams and safeguard supply continuity across worldwide markets. If you thrive at the intersection of commercial strategy, stakeholder engagement and global influence, and you love the challenge of bringing others on the journey then this role will put you front-row at the heart of global supply, sustainability and commodity strategy.

What makes this role exciting?

  • Lead a major global spend portfolio with strong visibility, recognition and strategic impact.
  • Be the trusted advisor to regional teams and country MDs demonstrating the value of a centre-led global procurement model.
  • Shape global market strategy, risk cover and futures recommendations with internal trading experts in the business for your allotted ingredients / commodities area.
  • Own global relationships while empowering regions to execute.
  • Travel across markets, building both alliances and cultural understanding.
  • Play a pivotal role in supply continuity, innovation, sustainability and long-term value creation.
  • Join a globally recognised powerhouse with exceptional career development and exposure.

This isn't a "behind the laptop" procurement role. It's about getting out into the business, building credibility, and becoming the respected voice that brings global and regional priorities together.

What you'll be doing

  • Champion and embed a centre-led global category strategy people want to follow.
  • Act as the commercial trigger on commodity cover decisions and hedging windows.
  • Partner with regional leaders to align on supply, specification and value delivery pathways.
  • Spot opportunities in global supply markets and introduce challenger thinking.
  • Provide executive-level confidence around supply, risk and sustainability.
  • You will be the bridge between global strategy and regional execution, and the person who makes collaboration the winning formula.

What you'll bring

  • 7+ years experience across procurement, food commodities, or broader commercial roles.
  • A track record of influencing without authority and navigating matrix environments.
  • Strong commercial judgement, ideally with knowledge of commodities, food / ingredients.
  • A collaborative style, you thrive in dialogue, not mandate.

Why join?

Because here, your success isn't measured only by savings, it's measured by global influence, stakeholder trust, and meaningful business impact. You'll join a business modernising its global procurement model where your voice shapes the future.

If you're motivated to drive real impact in a truly global role at a thriving global organisation, I'd love to hear from you.
