The predicted salary is between 28800 - 42000 Β£ per year.
DSV are recruiting for a Freight Forwarder on a fixed term contract of 12 months to cover a maternity leave. This role will support our day-to-day operations supporting both existing and new customers.
What will you be doing?
- Work within a well-established department handling both imports / exports, reporting to a supervisor and aiming to achieve monthly targets and KPIs.
- Dealing with time-sensitive shipments β both Import and Export.
- Assisting with Data Quality elements of the department.
- Looking after the P&L responsibility to ensure monthly budget and KPIs are hit.
- Working closely with operations to achieve monthly KPIs & targets.
- Overseeing team members to ensure they are supported with current workload.
- Assist management with ongoing tasks and new customers.
About You
- Strong multimodal background required.
- Able to work and perform well within a team whilst under pressure.
- Ability to lead a team whilst under pressure.
- Ability to multitask to get the job done efficiently.
- Knowledge of road freight is favourable but not a requirement.
