This role is an exciting opportunity to join our TV Commercial Team and influence the growth and commercial strategy for Sky's IP products. As Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for the commercial strategy and planning for Sky's IP products (Sky Glass and Sky Stream) for our existing TV customers. You'll collaborate with Trading, Marketing, Finance, and Route-to-Market teams to enhance business performance and embed learnings into future strategies.
What You'll Do
- Strategy: Help define the strategic direction for the TV business, with a focus on driving profitable migrations to Sky Glass. This includes setting pricing, promotions, and media investment strategies.
- Forecasting: Lead the development of annual and quarterly plans and forecasts for SoIP products as part of the quarterly planning process. Take ownership of Voice routes-to-market and supply inventory planning.
- Performance Reviews: Analyse data from multiple sources to understand performance trends. Present clear, concise stories and actionable recommendations to senior stakeholders.
- Diagnosis: Collaborate with in-quarter Trading teams to identify and address performance issues, ensuring insights are incorporated into future plans.
- Growth Opportunities: Work with stakeholders to identify and execute initiatives that drive P&L growth. Support the Head of Department and team leads in increasing volume, revenue, and EBIT.
- Proposition Development: Partner with the Propositions Team to bring new offerings to market. Contribute to commercial strategy, business casing, and go-to-market planning.
