Circle Health Group, Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare, invites a skilled Buyer to support our procurement department. This full‐time role is 37.5 hours a week and offers a competitive salary plus an attractive benefits package.

Responsibilities

  • Develop sourcing strategies for clinical spend categories, including medical consumables, implantable devices, critical equipment and maintenance.
  • Execute end‐to‐end tendering processes: draft tender requirements, specifications, commercial negotiations and collaborate closely with stakeholders.
  • Provide reactive support to stakeholders, resolving BAU operational issues.
  • Collaborate with the business to agree project strategies, objectives and implementation activities, ensuring effective communication with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Undertake detailed spend analysis (capex/opex) to determine overall commercial value.
  • Plan and project‐manage savings projects, delivering on time and in full in partnership with key stakeholders.
  • Develop presentations and communication documents (market analysis, options appraisals, contract announcements) for stakeholder review.
  • Draft and negotiate contract terms with suppliers.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Previous buyer or procurement support role, preferably with experience in healthcare procurement and demonstrated application of essential skills: delivering savings, end‐to‐end tender management, spend analysis and modelling, engagement with senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently in a fast‐paced, results‐driven environment.
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Strong numerical skills (data analysis and modelling).
  • Excellent written, verbal and relationship‐building communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and travel flexibility within the UK.

Education

  • A Level or equivalent (A‐C) required; undergraduate degree desirable; MCIPS accreditation or working toward accreditation desirable.
