Job Description Summary
The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for executing on shipments, reporting transportation metrics, identifying trends across global transportation methods and practices, managing data, ensuring that internal customers needs are met and that company policy and international trade compliance regulations are adhered to.

Responsibilities
- Schedules, Coordinates and Tracks both Domestic and International shipments
- Ensures airlines and carriers are selected based on company objectives for cost and delivery
- Maintains Shipping records, including providing tracking or shipping history information to customers on request
- Prepares Shipping paperwork as well as completes shipping transaction in appropriate systems
- Coordinates Returned Material Authorization (RMA) process with Customers
- Overcome road blocks to ensure delivery is made in line with internal and external customers\\\' requirements
- Supporting Variable Cost Productivity initiatives
- Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned
- Working cross-functionally with Manufacturing and Quality to identify improvement opportunities and implement successful changes.
- Prepare boxes with appropriate labels for shipment as required
- Perform logistics distribution duties in compliance with current GDP as per annual GDP Training and local procedures
Qualifications & Experience
- Logistics experience
- Knowledge and understanding of Supply Chain concepts and application
- Strong analytical, planning and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills (oral & written)
- Shipping Administrator Skills and Qualifications: Problem-solving skills, decision making ability, Organisational skills, procedural mindset, ability to prioritise, understanding of quality management principles, ability to analyse data and understand connections. Experience in the use of SAP preferred.
