Join our distributed team as a Commodity Manager for blades and vanes machining for our SGT product line. In this multifaceted role, you will be shaping our turbine blades and vanes supply chain. You will negotiate optimal pricing and contract terms and manage supplier relationships to ensure a high-performing and reliable supply chain, which is vital to Siemens Energy's success.

You will focus on developing and implementing procurement strategies for turbine blade and vane components, collaborating with a global network of suppliers and partners. This is an individual contributor role that offers the opportunity to make a significant impact in a dynamic environment. How You'll Make an Impact
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, lead cost reduction activities, and manage in-contract supplier performance.
  • Lead contract management activities for key suppliers, including drafting, negotiating, and finalising agreements while ensuring compliance and optimisation of commercial terms.
  • Develop and lead sourcing activities from proposal through to contract signature, including pricing, negotiation, total cost analysis, and business case development.
  • Collaborate with partners to develop and implement strategic sourcing plans aligned with Siemens Energy's operational, financial, and long-term goals.
  • Independently lead key procurement projects, guide peers where required, and effectively communicate outcomes and recommendations to senior leadership.
What You Bring
  • A university degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field.
  • Several years' professional experience in a commercial, procurement, or supplier management role within an advanced manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience in drafting, negotiating, and managing complex contracts.
  • Strong analytical skills, initiative, and a strategic mentality, with a high degree of accountability.
  • Business fluency in English.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 20% domestically and internationally.
