The Demand Planner - Wholesale and Partnerships supports the operational efficiency and stock availability of the wholesale and partnerships channels. The purpose of this role is to ensure that the right product is accurately planned, appropriately stocked, and available at the right time so it can be supplied to partners when required. This is achieved through accurate consensus forecasting with the commercial teams, robust model stock planning, close teamwork with the supply planning team, clear insight, and strong cross‑functional collaboration. You will play a key role in maintaining service levels, identifying supply risks and opportunities, and contributing to informed decision making across Planning, Allocation, and wider operational teams. By applying a proactive mindset alongside strong analytical and planning skills, you help safeguard product availability and support the effective operation of the wholesale and partnerships channels to meet partners’ stock needs.
Main Responsibilities
- Support the operational delivery and growth of the Wholesale and Partnerships channels by ensuring seamless execution across order management, stock flow, and allocation activities.
- Process partner orders accurately, monitor stock and demand indicators and provide recommendations to maintain strong service levels and ensure timely product availability.
- Support the line manager in building productive and trusted relationships with the key internal stakeholders, including the commercial teams, to support aligned and informed S&OP discussions.
- Develop and maintain reporting that provides visibility of Demand, inventory, and service level performance, sharing insight driven recommendations to enhance planning effectiveness.
- Identify risks and opportunities such as potential shortages or overstocks and escalate insights that support timely and effective decision making.
- Execute stock allocation activities to ensure partners receive product in line with agreed timelines, priorities, and operational requirements.
- Build and maintain model stock proposals for strategic partners and key product categories.
- Support the Demand and Model Stock Planning Manager with reporting, analysis and insight across all sales channels.
- Provide actionable insights to senior management to support informed decision-making.
- Deliver clear, actionable insights to management to support informed operational and planning decisions.
Qualifications
- Experienced in order management, stock coordination or supply chain support, ideally in luxury retail, wholesale or partnerships environments.
- Confident working with data with strong analytical skills and high attention to detail.
- Commercially minded, understanding how product flow, partner needs and service levels impact sales.
- Organised, able to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and a calm, solutions‑oriented approach.
- A clear and effective communicator who builds trusted relationships across teams and with partners.
- Someone who demonstrates ownership, accountability and resilience and contributes positively to a high performing team.
- Curious, proactive and committed to continuous improvement.
- Interested in luxury and jewellery and able to use this understanding to support stronger conversations and decisions.
- Values innovation, efficiency and a client‑first approach.
- Excellent knowledge of Excel.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of SAP is a plus.
