The role of the Commercial Manager in the Connectivity Commercial Retention team is to deliver our quarterly retention plans, churn forecasts and toolkit, analysing performance and market trends and developing new ideas to test and learn within quarter. The Commercial Manager will also support the Commercial Retention Lead on the execution of key Sky Connectivity projects, and liaising with the Trading and Voice teams to ensure Go-to-market approach is fit for purpose and gain buy in from operation estates. The Commercial Manager will also have opportunities to contribute to the development of the long-term Connectivity strategy, working closely with the Strategy, Propositions and Finance teams to ensure continuous evolution and alignment with business objectives.
What you'll do
- Operational Management: review, improve and manage all operational churn reduction streams within quarter.
- Offer Effectiveness: constantly reviewing performance of offers and drivers. Working cross functionally to ensure plans and targets are met.
- RTM engagement: Work with all retention RTMs on plans and work with them to hit targets. Understand baselines/overlays/incentive drives. Work with Trading to manage weekly performance and execute any strategic/tactical drivers to improve.
- Lead the quarterly wash up process on commercial performance across Connectivity, providing insight to influence future quarterly plans, along with competitor insight.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the Broadband and Mobile Trading / RTM teams and other product areas across the organization.
- Work closely with the Finance team to understand the unit economics of our Connectivity products, the financial impact of our quarterly plans and how to optimise them.
- Work with the Connectivity Strategy team to help shape initiatives that generate new areas of opportunity for our Connectivity retention performance so that we stay on top and keep pushing the boundaries.

Team Overview
This role sits in the Commercial team within Connectivity, reporting to the Connectivity Commercial Retention Lead. The team is key to the ongoing commercial success of the Sky Group's Connectivity business (optimising across volume and financial return) and works closely with colleagues in Trading, Routes to Market (RTM), Marketing, and Finance to ensure the ongoing strength of Sky and NOW Connectivity customer base and P&L.
