YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Great news! We have a fantastic opportunity for a Category Manager to join our Category, Insights & NRM Team. Support the development & execution of the Cake & Pizza strategy together with the wider Category and Sales/Marketing teams. Understand shopper and consumer insight together with brand marketing to contribute to the future development of the Pizza & Cake category and the performance of Dr. Oetker brands within that category. Develop meaningful category relationships in specific retailers and become recognised as providing category leading insight. Deliver powerful category-based rationale and consumer shopper insight to maximise sales and shelf presence for Dr. Oetker brands in specific retailers.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Communication & relationships - You're a natural people connector with strong interpersonal skills, able to build trust and positive relationships at all levels. Experience in a corporate office environment is essential.
- Drive & initiative - You're organised, proactive and thrive on taking ownership. You use data well and turn this into actionable insights.
- Challenge & Influence - You are confident in challenging & influencing with confidence at all levels across the business.
- IT skills - You are highly competent in Microsoft Office apps such as Excel and PowerPoint, as well as data systems such as Circana, Nielsen & Kantar. Experience in retailer data systems would be a great advantage.
The role will be based from our Leeds Head Office (Thorpe Park, Leeds) and we are currently working to a hybrid working model where 2/3 days per week are home working. You will need to be able to commute to our Leeds Head Office, Leyland Production site and other external locations for face‑to‑face collaboration and to meet business requirements.
