About The Role

At EKFB we’re shaping Infrastructure for a better tomorrow. All four of our partners (Eiffage, Kier, Ferrovial and BAM) bring specialist expertise in the design, construction, operation, financing and maintenance of railway networks, including the construction of one of Europe’s latest high speed rail projects.

We’re looking to recruit a Buyer to join the Calvert Area (CA) of works. This role is based from the EKFB Site Compound located just outside of Buckingham. In order to be considered for this role you must hold a full driving license.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for delivering effective procurement solutions to the Project Delivery Team and to ensure supplier performance and reduce cost and business risk significantly. You’ll need to be able to deliver a best value supply chain by embedding category strategies into the projects and focusing on the needs of internal and external customers.

You will need to work closely with our stakeholders to understand project requirements and implement the most appropriate supply chain and category solutions. You will also need to prepare and issue enquiries, quotation analysis and evaluation. Resolving issues with suppliers, quotes and deliveries is a key part of this role.

We need someone to ensure the supply chain is safe, sustainable and appropriately accredited as well as supporting the performance management and supplier developer programmes.
