Role: Assessment Support (Leader) - Permanent
Location: Cookham – Hybrid – 2 days office / 3 days remote weekly
Salary: £27,062.00 + Benefits
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the development, delivery and quality assurance of assessments that support the next generation of marketing professionals.
Working closely with examiners, senior assessment specialists and internal stakeholders, you will help ensure our qualifications continue to meet the highest regulatory and professional standards.
If you have experience within awarding organisations, assessment administration, education, quality assurance, or qualification development and enjoy managing multiple projects and stakeholders, we'd love to hear from you.
What you'll be doing:
- Coordinating and managing examiner and assessment teams across CIM qualifications and specialist awards.
- Supporting the development, production and validation of assessments and associated materials.
- Ensuring assessments are delivered on time and meet regulatory and quality standards.
- Organising standardisation meetings, validation activities and exam board processes.
- Producing examiner reports, tutor guidance, student support materials and assessment documentation.
- Building effective relationships with internal teams, examiners, senior assessors and external stakeholders.
- Supporting quality assurance processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Helping monitor assessment budgets, costings and operational activities.
- Ensuring confidentiality, security and fairness are maintained throughout the assessment process.
- Contributing to the development of systems, processes and reporting tools that enhance operational effectiveness.
What we’re looking for
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Experience working within assessment, awarding body, education or quality assurance environments.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work to demanding deadlines.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- Confidence coordinating the work of external experts and subject matter specialists.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- Commitment to maintaining fairness, integrity and quality in assessment.
Knowledge & Qualifications
- Understanding of awarding body and examination administration processes.
- Knowledge of assessment and quality assurance practices.
- Awareness of post-16 education and higher education environments.
- Experience working with Ofqual-regulated qualifications or similar quality frameworks would be advantageous.
- Degree qualified, ideally in Marketing, Business, Management or a related subject.
