There is an upcoming opportunity for a Law Lecturer. The role teaches Employment Law and Business / Commercial Law. Candidates would need credible practice experience in either or both specialisms. Prior teaching experience is not required but you would need to demonstrate the following:

  • Passionate about helping learners build skills to succeed and the ability to inspire and motivate.
  • An effective communicator able to listen well and respond to the needs of stakeholders.
  • Able to build and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Skilled at providing feedback, using tact and diplomacy.
  • Proactive and highly organised, able to manage and prioritise multiple demands on your time.
  • Committed to promoting the welfare of learners.
  • Eager to develop own teaching and course design capability.

This is a permanent vacancy with hours dependent on applicants’ specialisms (i.e. one or both practice areas). If you have any further questions, please contact Jonathan Hodgkinson in the Law School. FTE Salary £43,500. Successful candidates for roles within the regulated part of the business must undergo DBS and background checks as part of the hire process.
