Architectural Technologist required in Newcastle upon Tyne

Could your next move be with JDDK Architects? We're looking for an enthusiastic and capable Architectural Technologist to join our team in Newcastle. If you have 3+ years' professional experience, strong technical ability and a real interest in good architecture, this is an opportunity to develop your career within an established, supportive and collaborative practice.

You'll work alongside our architects, technologists and wider design team on projects from early design through to construction. You'll be part of a highly experienced and supportive team, with the opportunity to learn from experienced architects and technologists, develop your technical skills and take on increasing responsibility as your career progresses. Housing is an important part of our work, including new-build and affordable housing, however we have a varied portfolio of refurbishment, retrofit, heritage, conservation, health, community, commercial and visitor projects.

• 3+ years' experience in architectural technology
• Strong technical knowledge and an understanding of UK construction and Building Regulations
• Experience working through RIBA Stages 3-6
• Good Revit and AutoCAD skills
• The ability to produce accurate, well-coordinated technical information
• A collaborative and proactive approach
• Good attention to detail and a practical approach to problem-solving
• Experience of residential and affordable housing, working with contractors, specifications, refurbishment/retrofit, heritage and sustainable design would be an advantage.
