Role summary
The Chartered Association of
Business Schools (Chartered ABS) is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented
Junior Accounts Administrator to join our Finance team.
This is an excellent opportunity
for someone with previous finance or accounts administration experience who is
looking to develop their career in accounting within a supportive, purpose-led
organisation. You will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day
financial operations of the Association, ensuring financial records are
accurate, transactions are processed efficiently, and internal controls are
maintained.
Working closely with the Finance
Manager and wider team, you will contribute to the smooth running of finance
processes while developing your skills in a collaborative and professional
environment.
Key responsibilities:
We are looking for someone who
will:
purchase orders and employee expense claims accurately and promptly
invoices and support the collection of outstanding payments where
required
accounts receivable activities
supplier accounts and customer accounts
records and process transactions using Sage accounting software
financial procedures, including journals, accruals and account reconciliations
under supervision
documentation using SharePoint and Outlook to support audit
requirements
financial policies, procurement procedures and internal controls
queries from colleagues and external stakeholders
administrative support as required
