Responsibilities
- Assist predominantly Limited Company clients with statutory reporting.
- Prepare financial statements primarily under FRS 102, with some IFRS.
- Prepare VAT returns.
- Support outsourced FD clients with management reporting and ad hoc queries.
- Assist in training junior team members (new AAT trainees).
Ideal Candidate
- AAT qualified or ACA/ACCA part‑qualified or newly qualified.
- Minimum 2 years experience in an accountancy practice.
- Experience in preparing financial statements, corporation tax returns and VAT returns.
- Excellent IT skills – MS Office, Sage and Xero.
- Excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing.
- ACA/ACCA study support provided if not already fully qualified.
Working Conditions
- This role is hybrid, combining working from home with presence in the Kent office in Goudhurst.
