If you’re slightly obsessed with using AI, automation and smarter outreach to generate demand, this role could be dangerously interesting…
Why You Should Join
You’ll get the chance to turn your ideas into systems, your systems into growth, and that growth into a much bigger and brighter future for your career… Your mission is to create a smart AI and tech focused commercial engine from scratch. You’ll take ownership of a brand-new commercial function, creating the digital lead generation systems, campaigns, processes, AI tools and customer activation strategy that turn interest into product samples, trials and revenue. No inherited mess.
You’ll be one of the early hires in a small business aiming to scale to £10m in 3-5 years, and if you help make that happen, your career changes with it. Not in the “congratulations, we’ve added Senior to your job title and ruined your life with more admin” kind of way. More influence, ownership, money and say in how the business grows.
Your leader Calum is clear, he said: ‘If you come in and do this properly, you’ll become instrumental in the whole sales and marketing process, potentially moving into the leadership team and hiring beneath you as the function grows within the next couple of years.’ So your progression could be life changing…
The cherry on top? You’ll do it remotely, without donating your life to morning traffic and petrol stations. And you’ll have the chance to put money down on a house or a big holiday by earning another £20k on your basic salary if work leads to hitting revenue targets.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll help build the UK’s smartest cleaning & hygiene startup. You’ll be bringing modern digital lead generation, AI, automation, HubSpot, LinkedIn, email campaigns and proper sales enablement into a traditional industry. You’ll create customer demand, generate sample requests, drive product trials, activate distribution partner sales teams, and build the systems that turn early interest into actual revenue.
You’ll work with distribution partner sales teams to find opportunities, build a pipeline for each customer, test different messaging, improve collateral, automate repeatable tasks, and use HubSpot to manage campaigns, workflows, reporting and follow-up. You’ll be guiding your founders as to what tools and strategies you believe will result in success. And they'll give you the tools and support to do it. No idea is off the table as you get a platform to experiment and put your stamp on how the business grows moving forwards.
Where You’ll Be Doing it
You’ll be joining a small, founder-led sustainability business that has developed a unique cleaning product range that’s easier to store, transport and use, while reducing reliance on bulky, plastic-heavy formats. There’s nothing else in the market like it. So when you’re creating demand you’ve got something genuinely different to put in front of customers.
But the impact here isn’t just the unique product shaking up the market. You’ll help bring a smarter, more tech-led, AI-first approach into a market that still runs far too much of its commercial activity like it’s 2009 and everyone’s pretending that’s fine. Your company’s already proved demand across retail, online and B2B, and are now expanding into a wider commercial product range with the goal of becoming a major player in this industry. You’ll help them do it completely differently.
What Skills You’ll Need
You’ll be the type of person who has an almost unhealthy obsession for using technology to generate revenue. Which means you’ll need:
- Strong digital lead generation experience
- Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator and email outreach tools
- CRM experience
- Experience with AI, automation and modern sales/marketing tools
- A track record of using these skills to generate revenue
However, this won’t suit you if you need a big corporate structure, a 47-page onboarding manual, and three managers telling you exactly what to do every morning. Because your founders will be looking to you to show them how this is done.
How to Apply: If you want a career-changing chance to prove what AI, tech and automation can do in a traditional market, click Apply. No polished CV needed. Just send what you’ve got, and we’ll take it from there.
