Job Description Property Litigation Solicitor (3 Years PQE) (or less if you meet the criteria below) Location: Essex IG8 Salary: Based on experience My client is an innovative, modern law firm known for its specialism in property litigation and related areas of law. Their team provides comprehensive legal services to a diverse client base, including property developers, landlords, investors, and corporates, and pride themselves on their high standards of client care, technical excellence, use of modern technology and commercially driven solutions. Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled Property Litigation Solicitor with a minimum of 3 years’ post-qualification experience (PQE) to join our team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in handling a broad range of property litigation matters, excellent client management skills, and the ability to work mostly autonomously but sometimes with other team members. Key Responsibilities: Case Management: Manage a varied caseload of property litigation matters, including landlord and tenant disputes (commercial and residential), boundary and easement issues, lease renewals, dilapidation claims, and other real estate disputes. Client Relations: Maintain and develop strong relationships with clients by providing timely, pragmatic, and commercially astute advice. Communicate effectively via email and Microsoft Teams. Legal Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough legal research and provide strategic advice on complex property litigation issues. Leverage our resources including a modest textbook library, Practical Law subscription and online webinar library. Court Representation: Prepare and represent clients in court and tribunal proceedings, mediation, arbitration, and other dispute resolution forums as required. Select and instruct appropriate counsel when required. Drafting and Negotiation: Draft and negotiate legal documents, including settlement agreements, witness statements, and pleadings.
