We are seeking an enthusiastic, organised and student-focused Librarian to lead and develop our secondary school library as a welcoming, inclusive and inspiring learning environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting literacy, independent learning and reading for pleasure across the school, helping to foster a lifelong love of reading among our students. This is a part-time, term time only post, working 26 hours per week, 39 weeks per year.

Charnwood College is an oversubscribed 11 to 18 school with a recent Ofsted inspection rating of Good in all areas. The campus spans 40 acres and offers a range of sports, arts and technology facilities. The school follows ‘The Charnwood Way’ to create a positive, learning culture in which all students are immersed.
