Overview
Charnwood Borough Council in Leicestershire is searching for the latest member of the Landlord Services Team. We are looking for a passionate individual who is customer focused, a team player and wants help improve our local communities in Charnwood. Our ideal candidate will have excellent organisational skills, be computer literate and work well within a team of like-minded individuals. The Role
The Principal Officer Repairs will play a lead role in the successful management of the Responsive repairs team. With the ability to successfully work in partnership, you will ensure that our customers’ objectives around high quality, communication, and customer care are met. You will ensure that repairs are delivered in line with agreed budgets, and that key performance indicators are met.
Qualifications
The role requires the candidate to demonstrate substantial experience and knowledge of the current legislation of responsive repairs and preferably hold a degree level education or the ability to demonstrate equivalent experience as set out in the person specification and hold a clean driving licence and have access to a vehicle to undertake duties on site. You will also have experience of managing and supervising a team of Repairs Team Leaders and a Mould and Disrepair Co-ordinator.
