Job overview
Charnwood Borough Council’s Housing Repairs team are looking for a qualified Plumber to carry out a wide range of plumbing work and repairs associated with the maintenance and adaptation of social housing, Council properties and public buildings.
You must have NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds in Plumbing or equivalent, as well as the ability and desire to deliver high quality customer standards in line with the Council’s customer service excellence standard.
The role is permanent and will include participation in the out-of-hours call-out service. A full clean driving licence is essential, and a van is supplied for Charnwood business use only. Tools and uniform are also provided.
About You
We are looking for a suitable candidate who has experience in domestic plumbing and preferably in the social housing sector, being qualified to NVQ level 2 in plumbing and have a full UK driving license are essential.
