Charnwood Borough Council seeks a Transformation and Improvement Officer to lead the delivery of transformation initiatives across the Council. This role supports the Council through a significant period of change, including preparation for local government reorganisation and transition.
The position involves improving services by using data and digital tools, delivering positive outcomes for residents, customers, and communities.
Responsibilities
- Lead transformation initiatives and support corporate projects and initiatives.
- Turn information into practical insight, challenge existing ways of working and help colleagues adopt new processes, systems and approaches.
- Build positive working relationships, communicate clearly, facilitate discussions and manage competing priorities.
- Apply evidence-based analysis to solve problems and support meaningful change.
Qualifications
- Experience in service improvement, project support, business analysis, digital transformation, performance reporting or local government is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and organisational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and use evidence to drive decisions.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
