We're on the lookout for a passionate individual who wants to help us make a difference to local communities here in Charnwood, Leicestershire. The Council is recruiting for a Sheltered Housing Liaison Officer.
RoleYou will be providing assistance and support to our elderly tenants in moving to their new homes due to the closure of their current accommodation, ensuring effective liaison, assisting with issues and queries as well as supporting with applications to external agencies.
PersonYou will have great Customer Service skills and experience of working with elderly or vulnerable tenants. Understanding the needs of the elderly in Supported Housing is essential, along with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels and remain calm under pressure. There may, at times, be the need to work outside of normal office hours.
