You will provide a high-quality alarm service to our Lifeline customers while assisting the Lifeline Officer with the installation and maintenance of Lifeline equipment in customers’ properties. You will also complete general administration duties relating to the role and assist the Lifeline Officer in promoting the service by attending events.

You will be required to provide shift cover for our team of Lifeline Controllers, who provide a 24-hour, shift-based service to tenants of sheltered and dispersed housing for elderly residents, as well as private Lifeline customers. This includes responding to customers who activate their emergency alarm and arranging the appropriate emergency service or next of kin. This is a 24-hour-a-day, 7-day-a-week service, operating 365 days a year. You will work 30 hours per week. Some of these hours will be during office hours, assisting the Lifeline Officer, and some will involve providing cover in the Lifeline control room. You will be required to cover colleagues’ sickness and holidays, for which you will be paid overtime.

Candidates should have a knowledge and understanding of handling sensitive personal information in line with Data Protection.
