Charnwood Borough Council is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Former Tenants Arrears Officer to join our Housing Income Team. We are seeking an experienced professional with a background in credit control, income management or arrears recovery, who is confident negotiating with customers and decision making. You will be highly organised, able to prioritise a busy and varied caseload, and motivated by achieving results.
In this role, you will manage a workload of former tenancy, garage and shop accounts, using your knowledge of income recovery, debt and money management to maximise collection while working supportively with customers to resolve their debts. The role requires a methodical and organised approach, the ability to manage competing priorities, and the confidence to work collaboratively with colleagues, partner teams and external organisations.
