Charnwood Borough Council is seeking a Benefits Officer to join the Benefits Assessment Team.
You will handle Housing Benefit, Council Tax Support, and discretionary payments, gathering information and making decisions to ensure residents receive the support they are entitled to.
You’ll assess claims and changes in circumstances, providing a high quality, customer-focused service by writing, via electronic channels, over the telephone, or face to face.
Full training will be provided.
