We’re offering an exciting opportunity to join our housing leadership team in a part-time, job-share role. If you’re passionate about delivering high-quality housing services and want to make a meaningful impact this could be the perfect fit.
About the Role
As Landlord Services Manager, you’ll play a key role in shaping and delivering housing management services that meet the needs of tenants and leaseholders across Charnwood. Reporting to the Head of Landlord Services, you’ll lead a team of dedicated professionals and ensure services are delivered to the highest standards of performance, financial accountability, and customer care.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Leading and inspiring teams to deliver excellent housing services.
• Ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory landlord obligations.
• Developing and implementing policies.
• Driving service improvement and ensuring value for money.
• Managing budgets and contributing to strategic planning.
• Championing tenant engagement and inclusive service delivery.
• Responding to legislative changes and external influences.
What we’re looking for:
You’re a strategic thinker with a strong operational background in housing management. You bring leadership, innovation, and a commitment to delivering customer-focused services.
Essential qualifications and experience:
• Level 4 housing qualification or willingness to obtain.
• Proven management experience in housing services.
• Strong knowledge of tenancy law and income recovery.
• Budget management and performance improvement expertise.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Flexibility to work out-of-hours and travel across the Borough.
