Charnwood Borough Council in Leicestershire is searching for the latest member of #TeamCBC! We are looking for a passionate individual who is customer-focused, a team player, and wants to help improve our local communities in Charnwood.

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Housing Options Assistant to join our Housing Needs Team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing support and assistance to individuals and families seeking housing solutions. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of Charnwood residents by helping to prevent homelessness and ensure access to suitable housing.

Housing Options Assistant Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide frontline support and advice to individuals and families experiencing housing difficulties.
  • Assist in conducting initial assessments to determine housing needs and eligibility for assistance.
  • Support the Housing Options team in developing and implementing housing plans tailored to the needs of service users.
  • Help clients understand their housing rights and responsibilities.
  • Provide administrative support, including data entry, handling correspondence, and managing appointments.
