Charnwood Borough Council in Leicestershire is an ambitious and dynamic organisation with a strong focus on supporting communities, looking after the environment, and creating a thriving economy.
For the first time in almost 40 years, an opportunity has arisen to manage our small, busy Environmental Protection team here at Charnwood. Reporting to the Head of Regulatory and Community Safety, you will be responsible for officers covering functions including air quality, nuisance, contaminated land, and LA-PPC.

Benefits to working with us: The Council offers generous annual leave of between 35.5 and 44.5 days (depending on grade and length of service) inclusive of bank holidays. Essential Car user allowance (EHO roles), casual car user allowance (Manager), free parking on-site at Southfields offices. Charnwood is also an agile organisation, and you will have the opportunity to work flexibly from home and the office. Professional CIEH membership fees are paid by the authority.
