The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 £ per year.

An opportunity has arisen for a self-motivated individual, who is outcome and partnership focussed, with a passion for improving community safety and reducing crime and disorder. The successful candidate will work 37 hours per week, Monday – Friday.

We are looking for someone who has proven experience in this field of work and who has a good knowledge and understanding of legislation relating to community safety. You will be responsible for developing crime and disorder reduction strategies, identifying and supporting the most vulnerable in our communities and for improving community confidence, engagement and cohesion.

You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and possess the ability to effectively plan and organise your workload. Creative problem-solving skills will be an integral part of your working practices and the ability to make robust decisions is essential. You will deliver and co-ordinate the Charnwood Community Safety Partnership Plan, co-ordinate service delivery and develop and maintain positive relationships with partners and agencies to ensure a multi-agency approach to reducing crime and disorder. You will have detailed knowledge of ASB case management and be committed to meeting the needs of, and improving outcomes for, our residents, offering an excellent customer service.

The successful candidate will be subject to a standard DBS check.
